The 'Upside Down Bottle Shield' (UBS-1) is the perfect protection for those jobs that require a draw from an inverted bottle. The contents can then be totally extracted with protection to your hand. The UBS-1 is an acrylic shield that measures 4 inches by 4 inches with an acrylic tube attached at the top to hold a standard size bac-tec bottle in place. The tube and opening for the bottle measures 3 centimeters, and is 1 inch tall. The UBS-2 model will hold two bottles in the same fashion, but the tube that holds the double bottles is 1/2 inch tall, and the shield measures 7 inches by 4 inches. It works by simply grasping the attached tube and bottle in one hand, then making the draw with the other. The UBS-P is designed for pediatric 'long neck' bottles and works in the same manner, the shield size is 4 inches by 4 inches and the holding tube is 1 1/2 inches tall with an opening of 2 centimeters. Custom sizes can be made to meet individual customer needs.
