BLOOD TUBE HOLDER & SHIELD FOR TRANSFER OF BLOOD FROM SYRINGE TO VACUUM TUBE

Protection and control: The DB-2 BLOOD TUBE HOLDER & SHIELD provides maximum protection and control for the transfer of blood from a syringe to blood drawing tubes. The extra wide shield provides protection from potential needle sticks and from the tiny droplets of blood that are sprayed when the needle is withdrawn from the vacuum tube.

Multiple combinations of tubes: The unique design of the DB-2 allows for the selection of 2 sizes of tubes, pediatric and 12mm size, for a total of four different combinations of tubes. By simply moving the selection arm any one of the following tube combinations can be quickly obtained:

1. One pediatric tube.
2. One pediatric tube and one 12mm tube.
3. One 12mm tube.
4. Two 12mm tubes.

Easy to carry: The size is 4 inches by inches by 1/4 inch thick for easy storage in a phlebotomy tray or pocket.
