The use of latex gloves has grown dramatically over the past years due to
an increased awareness of AIDS, and implementation of universal precautions.
Latex sensitivity is not limited to only the health care worker, but also
affects the patients. To meet this growing need ILA has developed a latex
free blood drawing kit. Designed to be carried on a regular phlebotomy tray,
the 4x6 inch disposable kit contains a pair of vinyl gloves, a newly developed
dispos- able stretch vinyl tourniquet, a 3 inch foam bandage and an alcohol
wipe. Directions for use are contained in each kit.
The BDK-2 comes in a compact 4x6 inch disposable zip lock bag, which can be used to contain the items after use. The small compact size allows for easy storage on the phlebotomy tray. The BDK-2 is packed 20 units per case, glove size medium.. If large size glove is desired use product #BDK-2 LARGE
