Buffered Zinc Formalin Fixative can be used for routine stain for cytoplasmic or nuclear components. Zinc has heavy metal ions which interfere with tight cross linking of the aldehyde and amine. Buffered Zinc Formalin allows for excellent imuno-histological results without protease pretreatments.
