A complete phlebotomy and I.V. training device in a handy shock resistant copolymer case. The PTA-1 is composed of a mock arm covered with a realistic removable latex skin which covers four different types of veins most commonly encountered by the phlebotomist, adult vein, pediatric vein, adult "buried vein" and pediatric "buried vein".

Upon set up, the carrying case becomes the support for the rack holding the reservoir bottle. The reservoir bottle can be easily filled from any water tap and food coloring added to simulate blood. The arm can be placed in the acrylic holding tray for stabilization, or used without the tray to simulate a more difficult draw. Ample tubing is provided for movement about the training area. The latex skin on the arm is held by Velcro and can be easily removed for cleaning or repositioning.

 All of the component parts of the PTA-1 are available for purchase separately and can be easily removed and replaced. Mild soap and water is all that is required for cleaning.
